Each year, NCSciFest features some special opportunities that don't fit neatly into the calendar of live events. Check out some of these other great ways to get involved:

NC Science Festival April Trivia Series
Engage Trivia with SAS

NCSciFest is partnering with SAS, a global leader in data analytics, and partners across the state to launch a weekly trivia series.

Test your knowledge with themed trivia sessions each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month. Each week features questions and prize packs provided by special hosts from Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, The North Carolina School of Science and Math, the NC Zoo, and NC Aquariums.

Statewide Star Party: Moon and Mars

The 9th annual North Carolina Statewide Star Party, a signature event of the 2021 NCSciFest, will be held Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17, 2021. This year's theme is "Moon and Mars."

In recognition of continuing uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Star Party features both in-person skywatching and virtual events.

Funded by the North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation, FUTURES is a STEM outreach program that empowers community college faculty, staff, and students to connect with their local community through sharing their personal stories.
