Kids Zone Leap Into Science: Wind!

Join us for a special Kids Zone afterschool program featuring LEAP Into Science curriculum. We'll be exploring Wind -- with lots of fun activities to help children learn about what wind is and how it works.

Where: Old Fort, NC

Old Fort Elementary will host a STEM night featuring activities for students and families. Participants will get to experience coding activities using Colby, DASH, and Ozobots. STEM activities will be facilitated to help students understand the concept of wind, force and motion. Students will display their work on science projects and We Video productions. An awards program for the science projects will be held at the end.

 Join the Museum and the Raleigh Astronomy Club to help you see the big picture — of the Universe! From rockets, exoplanets and telescopes to crafts and activities, space enthusiasts of all ages will find something to do at Astronomy Days.  This year, Astronomy Days will be in-person but spaced out … come join us for two days of AMAZING astronomical programs!  This year's theme is VENUS!
