ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join us to make friends and challenge your muscles while enjoying WNC’s beautiful scenery! Whether it’s building bridges and maintaining trails on one of our preserves or removing invasive species and planting trees on an easement property, volunteering with Mainspring will give you a chance to explore, protect, and restore the well-known spots and hidden gems of this region. There are opportunities to use all sorts of fun tools, from chainsaws to sledgehammers to good old fashioned elbow grease!
On April 3rd, we'll be at the North Trailhead to Onion Mountain Preserve in Franklin developing and improving trails, as well as cleaning up the area where the old domes used to be.
On April 17th, we will be on a property that is not usually open to the public! Our main task for the day will be cleaning up around an old barn.
To register for one or both of these workdays and receive further information, email Skye at scahoon@mainspringconserves.org.
