Join us at the Catawba River Area to learn about the fish that call Lake James home. Practice your casting skills with this catch-and-release beginner fishing program. Fishing rods and tackle will be provided for participants to borrow.

Meet the program lead at the fishing pier at the Catawba River Area of the park. The fishing pier can be accessed by a paved trail, starting at the picnic shelter.

This program is best suited for ages 5 and up. Adult supervision is required.
