The North Carolina Science Festival recruits dynamic and dedicated STEM experts to share their excitement about science with students in middle school classes. The goal of each visit is to inspire your students to consider science as a career and to understand how science impacts our lives. Apply to have a STEM professional make an in-person or virtual visit to your classroom in April 2025! If you have questions, please contact the Festival team at ncscifestschools@unc.edu. Please note: An application does not guarantee that a scientist will visit your classroom. Selections are based on number of applications, geography, available scientists, and enthusiasm. If selected, you'll receive one scientist to visit all of your classes for a day.
